Tyks Orto offers electronic or digital services. These services are easy to use and available at a convenient time for you.
Tyks Orto Chat
Tyks Orto Chat is available on our website for general inquiries on weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm. At other times, you can send an email through the chat, and we will respond as soon as possible.
Please note that the chat connection is not secure, so do not include personal information in your message
Referral Receipt Notification
When your referral arrives at Tyks Orto, our specialist will evaluate it within three weeks of its arrival. Once our doctor has processed your referral, you will be notified by text message.
You will receive detailed instructions in the invitation letter later when an appointment has been scheduled for you.
Electronic appointment booking
In the electronic appointment booking service, you can book, cancel, reschedule, or view your appointments at the following Tyks Orto locations:
- Orthopedic Outpatient clinic
- Physiotherapy
- Outpatient Hand surgery
Currently, the electronic appointment booking service is only available to some patients. You will receive information in the invitation letter if the service is available to you.

Tyks appointment service
The service requires strong authentication, meaning you log in with online banking credentials or a mobile certificate.
Self-Registration
Tyks Orto has an electronic self-registration service ITTE for some receptions. If you can register yourself, you will receive a text message before the reception with a link to self-registration. Registration through the link is possible one hour before your appointment at the Surgical Hospital and half an hour before at the T Hospital.
Self-registration requires a personal identification number and a valid mobile phone number. After registration, you will receive instructions on the location of the reception and can go directly to the waiting area, where you will be called to the reception by name.
Digital care pathway
On My Path (Omapolku), you will find the digital care pathways opened for you and self-care programs open to everyone.
On our digital care pathways, you will find reliable information about your condition. You can familiarize yourself in advance with the treatment of the condition, preparation for possible surgery, and receive advice on recovery. The communication channel found on the care pathway enables a secure, way to ask questions to professionals regardless of time. Depending on the pathway, it is also possible to fill out various questionnaires.
You will receive an invitation to the digital care path opened for you by text message, and then you can log in to the path. The service requires strong authentication, meaning you log in with online banking credentials or a mobile certificate.
Note that our digital pathways are currently only available in Finnish or Swedish.

My Path
On Health Village’s My Path, you will find the digital care paths opened for you, social care digital service paths, and self-care programs open to everyone. On My Path, your health information and care instructions are always with you.
MyHealth (omavointi.fi)
We collect information from our patients about their functional capacity and quality of life before and after treatment. The information is used in treatment planning and monitoring the quality and effectiveness of care. The patient themselves fills in the information about their condition by answering disease-specific quality of life and symptom questionnaires. After the treatment event, the condition is monitored for at least a year.

MyHealth service
Omavointi.fi is an electronic service through which we collect information about your functional capacity and quality of life. When you have been sent questionnaires to fill out, you will be notified by text message.
